The Meeting of the friends of the Euphorbia-interesting-group took place at family Voigt in Burgstädt at July 18th 2009
15 friends of the genus Euphorbia came together in 2009 like every year. This year the meetings took place at family Voigt in Burgstädt.
Sadly it rained the whole day, but we were not bothered about the weather. The atmosphere was very good and many news and information were shared. Volker Dornig showed in detail how euphorbias can be well grafted. This was certainly a very informatory demonstration, especially because this practice is rarely described in the literature. Many members distributed and swapped plants.
In this way everybody was able to take something at home that would remember this nice day.
Of course the big collection and glasshouses of family Voigt was viewed. There were many interesting plants could be seen and photographed there.
The meal was delicious, coffee and cakes were also provided, so all the participants, invigorated, could set off for home with a nice remembrance of our euphorbia community.
Our heartfelt thanks to the familiy Voigt who facilitated and organised this meeting in an exemplary manner.
In the next year we will come together once more to keep this nice tradition alive.
